libgnuplot-iostream-dev software package provides C++ programming interface for gnuplot. Headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgnuplot-iostream-dev
libgnuplot-iostream-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgnuplot-iostream-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgnuplot-iostream-dev *
You will get with libgnuplot-iostream-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
